Bed-Stuy Aquarium

What started as a random idea on a hot day amongst homeboys quickly became a global conversation about art, creativity, connection and environmental sustainability. To everyone’s pleasant surprise (three of the collective of co-creators) Hajj, Quan, and Floyd have maintained the fire hydrant fish pond for over 3 weeks. Now we’re stepping up to support their valiant efforts. This is a pending nonprofit space for community outreach through family friendly events.

Pond Progress Report

As winter approaches, we're thrilled to announce the expansion of the Bed Stuy Aquarium from a community pond into a project to create a more robust weather-proof pond and community hub.

This enhanced space is a testament to the community's support and involvement, and we look forward to continuing to serve and inspire the children in our community. The official Aquarium Committee consists of advocates from all backgrounds and expertise including: Hajj, Quan, Nadine, Project Manager | Asha, Film Maker | Devaghn, Architectural Design| Grace & Yohanna, Graphic Design | Sha-Harmony, Community Engagement Coordinator.
